Deposits, Cleaning Fees and Room Tax
- Security Deposit
- A refundable damage/reservation deposit of $200 is required. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure. See the rental policy for details.
- Cleaning Fee
- There is a $70 cleaning fee per stay. For rentals longer than a week, additional cleanings may be required to keep the house maintained.
- Room Tax
- The City of Rockaway charges a 7% tax on all rentals. The tax will
be added to your rental statement.
Pet Fees
We welcome and encourage you to bring your well-behaved pets to stay at our house. Because even the most well-behaved pet requires additional cleaning and increases the potential for damage, we charge a nominal fee of $10 per night for pets.
